CharDham Yatra Package with Kedarnath Stay at Uttarakhand, also known as Devbhoomi or the Land of Gods, is home to a plethora of temples and welcomes pilgrims all year. The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most well-known holy locations and circuits visited by pilgrims in Uttarakhand. .

This Yatra, or pilgrimage, takes you to four holy locations in the Himalayas: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. ‘Char’ means four in Hindi, while ‘dham’ alludes to holy places.
Every year, For about six months, the high-altitude shrines are closed. opening in the spring and closing with the arrival of winter (October or November).It is advised to complete the Char Dham Yatra in a clockwise direction. As a result, the pilgrimage begins at Yamunotri and ends in Haridwar.

CharDham Yatra Package with Kedarnath Stay Itinerary​

Day 1: Haridwar - Barkot

Meet our driver at Haridwar/ Station/ Bus Stand and travel to Barkot through Mussoorie, stopping along the way to see Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Fall. After that, proceed directly to Barkot. Check into the hotel you reserved ahead of time. Barkot is where you will spend the night.
Mussoorie: Mansr is said to be the origin of the word Mussoorie. a shrub that is native to the area. The majority of Indians refer to the town as Mansuri. In 1803 the Gorkhas, led by Umer Singh Thapa, invaded the Garhwal and Dehra, establishing Mussoorie.  .
The weather in Barkot is generally good in the summer, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius; in the winter, the days are pleasant but the nights are chilly, with temperatures ranging from 10 to 05 degrees Celsius.

Day 2: Barkot / Yamunotri / Barkot {36kms drive & 6kms Trek (one side)}

After breakfast, drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti and begin your hike to Yamunotri (6 kilometres) (Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost). Return to Jankichatti by hike after bathing in JamunabaiKund’s warm water and receiving “Darshan” of “Yamunaji.” Later, drive to Barkot and spend the night there.
Yamunotri Temple was build in the 19th century by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur. Pilgrims call this cooked rice “Prasad” and take it home with them.  
Surya Kund: Near the temple, there are a number of hot springs that run into a number of pools. Surya Kund is the most prominent of them.
Before entering the Yamunotri Temple, pilgrims worship DivyaShila, a granite pillar.
The maximum temperature in Yamunotri during the summer is 18 degrees Celsius, while the lowest is 10 degrees Celsius. The days are lovely, but the evenings are chilly.

Day 3: Barkot Uttarkashi (100kms/4hrs drive one way)

Drive to Uttarkashi in the morning after breakfast. On the road to Uttarkashi, stop via Shivgufa. After arriving at Uttarkashi, visit the KashiVishwanath Temple in the city, check into the hotel, and spend the rest of the day relaxing. Uttarkashi is where you will spend the night.
A variety of ashrams and temples may be found in Uttarkashi. 
Vishwanath Temple – Vishwanath Temple is one of Northern India’s ancient Shiva temples. Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State reconstructed it in the old architectural style in 1857. It is in the town centre. 
 According to SkundaPuran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi,’ the Kaliyug residence of Lord Shiva and one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
Uttarkashi Weather – Summers are hot, with temperatures ranging from 30-35 degrees Celsius, while evenings are nice; winters are cold.

Day 4: Uttarkashi Gangotri Uttarkashi (100kms/3-4 hrs each side)

After breakfast, travel to Gangotri, stopping at Gangnani to have a holy plunge in GaramKund before continuing to Gangotri via the lovely Harsil Valley. 
After doing Pooja and Darshan, take some time to rest in the beautiful surroundings. Later, return to Uttarkashi via car. Uttarkashi is where you will spend the night.
Harsil is a hamlet on the banks of the Bhagirathi River on the route to Gangotri,
Below Gangotri, near Harsil, The Ganges Harsil is at a height of 9,005 feet (2,745 metres) above sea level.78 kilometres from Uttarkashi and 30 kilometres from the Gangotri National Park, which covers 1,553 square kilometres. 
Gangotri Temple was built in the 18th century by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa on the right bank of the Bhagirathi River. With a low temperature of 10° Celsius, summer nights may be chilly.  Gangotri’s winters are bitterly cold.
Gangotri will be completely covered in snow during the winter. 

Day 05: Uttarkashi Guptkashi (220kms/8-9hrs drive one way)

Drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgoan in the morning after breakfast. At Tilwara, you may observe the magnificent Mandakini River along way. The Mandakini River flows from Kedarnath to Guptakashi; travel beside the river to reach Guptakashi and visit the ArdhNarishwar Temple. When you get at Guptakashi, check into your hotel. Guptakashi is where you’ll spend the night.

“Hidden Kashi” is the meaning of the term GuptKashi. According to legend, when the Pandava brothers were looking for a sight of Shiva, Shivji initially hid himself at Guptkashi before fleeing farther up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas ultimately received their dream.

There are more physical ties as well: during the winter, the Kedarnath pandas (priests) reside in Guptkashi, and when the Kedarnath temple closes for the season, the image of Kedarnath passes via Guptkashi on its route to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it spends the winter.
Guptkashi Summer weather is lovely, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. Winters are severely cold.

Day 06: Guptkashi / / Kedarnath

After breakfast, head to Sonprayag to begin your climb to Kedarnath. (You must go from the hotel too early in the morning.) Stay the night at Kedarnath.
By Helicopter: Our driver will pick you up in the morning and take you to your pre-arranged Helipad. After returning to the helipad, our car will transport you to a hotel for rest.

By Trip: Our driver will drop you off in Sonprayag in the morning, then you must take a local jeep to Gaurikund, where your trek to Kedarnathji will begin. After darshan, return to Sonprayag via the same route. Because there is a significant parking problem, the driver may park the car somewhere else. If his contact number is not functioning, you must either arrange for another taxi or wait for your driver and send another message.

Day 07: Kedarnath / / Guptkashi.

Morning visit kedarnath Temple for pooja and after breakfast, checkout from hotel.Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. 
According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption.
He dove into the ground when he realised he was being followed. leaving his hump on the surface. 
Kedarnath Weather – Due to its high altitude the weather in Kedarnath remains cold for most part of the year. During summer season the temperature varies around 20°Celsius. Light woolen wear is recommended. Winter season in Kedarnath is severe with mercury falling to as low as 0°Celsius. 

Day 08: Guptkashi Badrinath (220kms/9-10hrs)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal&Aarti in evening. There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, VyasGufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the 3kms of Badrinathji. Overnight stay at Badrinath.Badrinathji is one of the ‘Ancient Four Dhams’ and one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country.
Badrinath Weather: The average maximum temperature will be around 18° Celsius and the average minimum is 8° Celsius. Warm and woolen clothes are hence required for a stay in Badrinath throughout the year. Winter in Badrinath is often accompanied by snow falls. Winter is very chilly with an average temperature of 5° Celsius.  

Day 09: Badrinath Joshimath Rudraprayag (160kms/7hrs drive one way)

Morning afterbreakfast, driver for Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Visit on the way Narsingh Temple in Joshimath later drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Check into the hotel arrival in Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
 The idol is brought down to Joshimath and installed in the temple for people to worship. There are many other temples in the township. The most important is the temple of NarSingh with the idol of Lord Vishnu.
The left arm of this deity is getting destroyed with time and the popular belief holds that the day the arm completely withers Badrinath valley will cease to exist and the Gods will transfer the residence into the neighboring Niti Valley at BhavishyaBadri.
Rudraprayag Weather – Generally hot in summer, the temperature ranges from 35-40 degree Celsius, Winter: The Days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold, temp ranges from 20 deg to 05 deg.

Day 10: Rudraprayag Haridwar (165kms/5-6hr)

Morning after breakfast, drive for Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh, known as the “Place of Sages,” is a spiritual town on the banks of the Ganga, surrounded on three sides by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas.
It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of ” Hrishikesh ” and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh. Later visit RishikeshTemples Sight Seeing – LaxmanJhulla, Ram Jhulla. Later drop at Haridwar.
Rishikesh: Named after the Lord Vishnu, Rishikesh is a holy city for Hindus. Located in the foothills of the Himalaya in northern India it is also known as the yoga center of the world and is home to many world renowned ashrams. Rishikesh styles itself as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’, with masses of ashrams and all kinds of yoga and meditation classes. 
Apart from temples and ashrams Rishikesh is now a popular white-water rafting centre, backpacker hang-out, and gateway to treks in the Himalaya.

Covid-19 case, or any other National/State Emergency:

In case passengers test COVID positive before the travel, or the Yatra gets called-off by the government, or any National or a state of emergency is declared, there will be no refunds applicable.
However, If passenger informed us 7 days prior his Yatra date with valid and genuine COVID Report we can issue a Credit Note by Travel Santa against the advance paid, which will be valid for the next three months and can be applied to the next Chardham Yatra booking.
If booking is cancelled within 5 days due to covid, it is not possible for aviation company to allot the seat commercially to another passenger but we are happy if you pass this seat to your family member (averaging the same weight).
The high-altitude shrines are closed for about six months each year, opening in the spring and closing with the arrival of winter (October or November). It is advised to complete the Char Dham Yatra in a clockwise direction. As a result, the pilgrimage begins and ends in Yamunotri.
