The Laal Quilla (Red fort), Humayun’s Tomb, and the fairly recent Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, appreciated for its pink statues and white marble mixed with a multitude of gardens and boat rides, are just a few of the holy and aesthetic locations in this city of ancient landmarks.

DAYS 3: AGRA
Sight Seeing: The Sensational Taj & the Mehtab Bagh
Step inside the Taj Mahal and be enchanted by the splendours of this magnificent masterpiece created by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his late wife, Mumtaz Mahal, as a tomb to bury her sacred body. The front view of the Taj Mahal may also be seen from the famed Mehtab Bagh, which is located just across from this marvel. Mehtab Bagh “The Moonlight Garden,” located about 500 metres from the Taj Mahal, is a quiet, quick escape from the crowds that allows you to enjoy the Taj in its natural surroundings.

The Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds, is a massive pink structure with five levels and a lot of windows and screens that let the wind to flow through the palace’s exquisite design. It is located in the ancient city. Because of its location, proximity to the exquisite city palace, and history, this palace, erected in 1799, is one of the most popular tourist destinations. According to legend, the Hawa Mahal was erected so that the royal queen may look out the windows at the world without being seen. City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Monkey Temple, and Amber Fort are also worth seeing.
